Melon Gourmet is what Sheba Foods chooses to call the better known Egusi soup which is a soup thickened with the ground melon seeds popular in West Africa. This soup is gourmet given the symphony of ingredients - melon seeds, water, oil (vegetable or palm oil), spices, spinach (or ther leafy vegetable). There is no meat or chicken broth in our Melon Gourmet which makes it a vegetarian dish.?
